Meaning of Life...
The truth behind the meaning of life begins with a lie. I choose to believe that the light at the end of the tunnel people sometimes see... are nothing more than chemical reactions that takes place when the organs and brain shut down. There is no conclusive evidence in spirituality or science. Nobody knows why they're here. We all have the same questions. Is there more to life than just going to school, finding a job, having friends and family, falling in love and having children and going through troublesome situations? Or is that all? No matter how different people's lives are, we all seem to be going through the very same thing in the end and breathing the same air.
Then there's the story of God. Where is he when we need him most? Does God exist or doesn't he? Are miracles real or is it just another lie? There are no miracles when I deal with patients who were victims of horrible experiences beyond human comprehension. Or that a baby born to a drug addict mother or been abused will be suffering from the effects of it for the rest of its life. Then there's the poor. They also never get any miracles. Many of them suffer throughout their lives and never had any help. What is a God of love who lets harm come to his own people and is jealous of others when jealousy itself is a sin? Did God create evil? Why would he since he knew the world was going to get corrupted anyway?
Nothing makes sense to me anymore.
The choices I make when it comes to believing in something have no significant kind of relevance to my life. It doesn't matter. Believe what you want. I choose to live in the reality that I have in front of me which is more comforting than dealing with the unknown. And yet...there is no comfort not knowing where life will take us, leading us to believe that life is nothing more than a simple trial.

Eos is my character. Please don't use without my permission. Thank you.
Yeh no bloody wonder she looks like that if that's what she's thinking about, it does my head in too XD
Still think the shading in her cheek is a bit strange, love the rest of it. Specially the clothes, and the hair is really nice too. And I like that you still have that touch of manga in your work :)
The cheek shadow was throwing it off, I didn't notice how much until you edited. The blush is much better ^_^

Arbiter
Oh wow. That turned out wonderful! Amazing the transfermation from sketch to color :) Emotional write up too!
"There are three things you can count on...."
"Your brains, your bros, and your bikes?" Vandal asked.
"No, Hunger, Thrist, and never a bathroom when you need it." Jacket grumbled.
